Its been a busy week for NASCAR, from its return to dirt in over 40 years. Then Busch and Winston cup qualifyin then Busch racin for their only 2nd time at Indianapolis then Winston racin for their 20th time. I know they're not called Busch and Winston or even the Craftsman Truck, but old habits are hard to beat.
Today qualifyin was intense and I'm glad Ryan Newman was able to edge jimmie johnson out for the pole and new track record at 47.992 seconds. Hope Jr can get his car hooked up better and at least get a top 5 finish if not possibly win it.
Ive seen some lawn tractor racin on TV and they get crazy. I got a buddy that does a lawn tractor derby at his local country fair in Ohio. My wife's town shut downtown for a few days for a street fair and they have a lawn tractor pull off. My local county fair was one of the firsts to have a combine derby and its boasts about 25-30 combines every year. And don't for get about the tractor pulls and semi truck pulls. We don't have any of that shit down here in Bama so every year our vacation we go up and the county fair is our vacation and the boys down here just can't wrap their heads round it...
WHAT?! No tractor pulls in Bama? Truck pulls? WTF? Pull their redneck cards.
