This is what not to ask a firefighter at a bbq, or a combat veteran for that matter. We all have evil demons inside that we've been exposed to so you are not. Some people just can't handle it. I've known a couple of people that wanted to be a firefighter/EMT and went through all the hours of training. Then they got dispatched to their first a MVA or house fire and just couldn't mentally handle it.  This guy explains it well, just brace yourself for what you are about to read, I've been there and the demons still exist and visit frequently...
